The inspiration for The Pet Set came on the day I fell in love with a boy... This boy can be rude (to the mailman), obnoxious (to the UPS person), confrontational (sits at the window and roars at Yorkies), and sloppy (dinner manners escape him). My boy is also intelligent, tender, happy to be alive...at his most inspirational when he is running across a field. That boy is Trotter, my beautiful Chocolate Labrador. As much as I want to believe I am his teacher, it is actually Trotter who teaches me. He has taught me that dogs are elegant, poised, smart and even spiritual; in fact, these are some of the essential concepts that shaped The Pet Set. (Apparently, dogs are fashion savvy, as well). The true nature of The Pet Set...to give dogs and their humans a graceful and stylish manner in which to correspond. The Pet Set expresses sentiments beyond doggie behavioral commands, treats, sign language, clickers and leashes; but with words and visuals which cleverly reflect the true emotions of our little creatures. While I might seem lovesick, I can assure you, I am not. I am fully aware that dogs cannot write. Yet, I also understand that if it makes me happy to remember a puppy's birthday or congratulations on the arrival of a new dog, then it makes him happy. Similarly, we understand that your sentiments for your pet are deeply a part of who you and your family are. Which is why we wanted The Pet Set to be unlike anything you may have seen in gift shops or online to date. We use only the finest paper from Mohawk Fine Papers, using the most sophisticated production and design methods. Our cards, note cards, gift enclosures, invitations and announcements have a customized look and feel to them -- as if an artist came to your home and painted you a one-of-a-kind work of art.
